What a Lucky Rabbit!

I saw this old cartoon of Oswald called "Oh What a Knight" (which will be featured in the Epic Mickey video game), and there were three relevant things to me that I liked about this short:

1) The way how everything was so "cartoony".

2) How Oswald love to kiss his kitty girlfriend, and the frequency of the kisses.

3) An awesome Lion that appears behind a door for a few seconds in the short.

The Mega Man!

The Mega Man

After seeing the awesome teaser for the game Megaman Universe, I decided to draw the Megaman version of the first's game cover art.

A little off of how Megaman looks today.

Conan O'Brien (Team Coco!)

This is an animated version of the introduction that Conan O'Brien used to do at the beginning of "The Late Night Show with Conan O'Brien":

Animation "Conan O'Brien Intro"

I pretty much did it for two reasons:

1) Portfolio

2) And because Conan O'Brien is just plain Awesome. A funny funny guy.

If it wasn't for the show of Jon Stewart, and Stephen Colbert, I wouldn't have anything to watch on T.V. Really eager to see Conan's new show this Fall.

This is the character sheet I used for the animation. It was made by LuigiL. Love the design. Very expressive and animatable.

(The image will take you to LuigiL's deviant)

You may find differences between the character sheet of LuigiL, and my drawings. For example, the drawing of Conan snapping his fingers, is a slightly different pose in my animation. I knew that he meant another action, instead of the one that I did.

His pose suggest that he is snapping quickly his fingers. I did a slower movement, and only having the character to snap three times, and make those graphics elements (the stars he create by snapping) stay longer, so the viewer can see them. I thought those graphic elements were neat, so I left them longer. They disappeared when Conan looked at them.

I also uploaded a "rough" version, follows by one version without music or background, so you can appreciate better the character animation without any distraction.

I leave you with some stills from the animations:
